10G-LR-SFP1 is Extreme original 10G SFP+ singlemode transceiver. Compatible with Extreme Summit X440, X450a, VSP series switches equipped with SFP+ slots. Supports DOM real-time monitoring of optical power, temperature, supply voltage and laser bias current. Widely used for cross-building, campus backbone 10G single-mode fiber interconnection.

Function

10G-LR-SFP1 converts 10G electrical signal into optical signal for single-mode fiber transmission at 1310nm wavelength. DOM function can read transceiver working parameters in real time. It is used for 10km 10G point-to-point singlemode fiber connection for enterprise backbone network.

Installation

Wear ESD anti-static wrist strap. Insert the SFP+ module fully into the SFP+ port of switch. Connect LC singlemode fiber patch cord. Power on the equipment, verify module identification, DOM optical power reading and link status via switch CLI before commissioning.
