Installation

Follow ESD protection procedure. Mount switch to standard 19-inch rack. Install hot-swappable AC PSU and fan tray. Insert SFP+ transceivers or DAC cables for uplink. Use Cat5e/Cat6 copper cables for PoE terminals. Access serial console port for ExtremeXOS initial configuration, set VLAN, PoE allocation, stacking and QoS policy. Verify port connectivity and PoE power status after power-up.
