Function

X460-G2-24p-24hp is high-density stackable gigabit PoE+ switch manufactured by Extreme Networks. It provides total 48 PoE+ copper ports to power indoor Wi-Fi AP, IP surveillance camera and IP telephone. Four 10G SFP+ ports offer high-speed fiber uplink to aggregation or core switch. Installation

Follow ESD protection procedure. Mount switch into standard 19-inch rack. Install hot-swap PSU and fan tray. Insert SFP+ transceivers or DAC cables for uplink. Connect Cat5e/Cat6 cables to PoE terminals. Access serial console port for ExtremeXOS initial configuration, set VLAN, PoE power allocation, stacking and QoS policy. Verify port link and PoE status after power-up.
