FunctionC5G124-48P2 is a multi-layer managed PoE+ gigabit access switch. It supports static and dynamic routing, VLAN segmentation, STP/RSTP/MSTP, ACL, QoS, IPv4/IPv6 multicast and SNMP. It automatically detects powered devices, monitors PoE power consumption, port link status, internal temperature and power health. Used to build stacked resilient access networks for large campuses and office buildings.

InstallationMount the switch on 19-inch 1U rack. Connect AC power cord, external redundant power supply can be installed optionally. Connect Cat5e/Cat6 cables to PoE+ RJ45 ports and insert SFP transceivers for fiber uplink. Connect console port for ExtremeXOS configuration. Verify boot sequence, port link and PoE status before putting into production.
