Function

NX-7500-DC is high-capacity DC powered 1U WiNG7 wireless controller for telecom room, large campus and multi-site enterprise. It centrally manages up to 2048 WiNG access points, handles SSID policy, RF optimization, client roaming and wireless security. Built-in firewall, IPsec/GRE VPN and AAA functions reduce additional network appliances. Hierarchical management can supervise branch NX5500 controllers under a single management pane. It supports 1:1 HA redundancy to avoid wireless service outage upon single controller failure. -48V DC power input matches telecom rack power architecture. SSD ensures reliable firmware and configuration storage. Widely deployed for university campus, hospital, telecom central site and large retail chain Wi-Fi network.

InstallationFollow ESD protection procedure. Mount appliance on standard 19-inch 1U rack. Install optional NMC 10G mezzanine card if required. Connect -48V DC power supply. Plug RJ45 Ethernet cables to LAN and uplink ports. Access serial console port for initial WiNG7 configuration, import AP capacity licenses, define WLAN profiles and security policies. Verify AP discovery and client access function after power-up.
