SLX9150-48Y-8C-AC-F belongs to SLX9150 data center switch family. Compatible with SFP28 25G and QSFP28 100G optical modules, breakout cables. Works as leaf node in IP fabric, pairs with SLX9250/SLX9540 spine switches. Supports EVPN-VXLAN and MCT for fabric redundancy.

Function

SLX 9150-48Y-8C-AC-F is 2U high-density 25G leaf switch for modern data center IP fabric. 48×25G SFP28 ports connect servers and hypervisor hosts, 8×100G QSFP28 uplink ports interconnect to spine layer. EVPN-VXLAN enables multi-tenant virtual network segmentation. Dual redundant AC power supplies and hot-swappable fans guarantee non-stop operation. Front-to-back airflow design suits hot-aisle/cold-aisle data center cabinet layout. Supports FIPS 140-2 security compliance for financial and government data center. Widely deployed for virtualization cloud, high-performance computing and enterprise data center leaf layer.

InstallationFollow ESD protection procedure. Mount switch into standard 19-inch 2U rack. Install dual AC PSU and fan trays. Insert SFP28/QSFP28 transceivers or DAC cables. Access console port for initial SLX-OS configuration, enable EVPN-VXLAN, MCT and security policy. Verify fabric peering and port connectivity after power-up.
