VSP4900-48P is 1U high-performance enterprise managed PoE+ switch manufactured by Extreme Networks. 48 gigabit PoE+ copper ports deliver data and 30W power for wireless access points, IP cameras and IP phones. Modular VIM uplink slot provides flexible high-speed 10G/25G/40G uplink options to aggregation or core switches. Fabric Connect simplifies multi-site campus network deployment. Supports MACsec link encryption, full IPv4/IPv6 routing, 802.1X authentication, VLAN segmentation and hardware QoS. Hot-swappable power and fan modules improve network uptime. Installation

Follow ESD protection procedure. Mount switch to standard 19-inch 1U rack. Connect AC power cords to dual PSU slots. Install VIM uplink module and optical transceiver if fiber uplink required. Use Cat5e/Cat6 cable for PoE terminals. Access console port for initial VOSS configuration, set VLAN, PoE profile, routing and Fabric Connect. Verify port connectivity and PoE power output after power-up.
