Function

X435-24P-4S is cost-effective standalone gigabit PoE+ edge switch. 24 PoE+ RJ45 ports deliver power to IP phones, surveillance cameras and Wi-Fi access points. Four SFP slots provide fiber uplink for long-distance connection. Supports static routing, VLAN, QoS, IGMP snooping, port security, storm control and network monitoring. Simple deployment and management for distributed branch network.

Installation

Mount the switch into standard 19-inch 1RU rack. Connect protective earthing and AC power cord. Connect Cat5e/Cat6 copper cables to PoE powered endpoints. Insert SFP transceiver and fiber cable for uplink. Configure through console or ExtremeCloud IQ. Verify port negotiation and PoE power allocation after commissioning.
