System compatibilityX440-24p-10G belongs to Extreme Summit X440 series, running ExtremeXOS operating system. It supports SummitStack stacking with other X440 switches, compatible with Extreme core switches such as X620, X670, VSP series. Widely deployed for office, campus, hotel, IP camera and wireless AP access networks, used for network maintenance and spare replacement.

FunctionX440-24p-10G is enterprise access layer PoE switch. It supplies PoE+ power to wireless access points, IP cameras and IP phones. It performs Layer2 switching, VLAN, STP/RSTP, QoS scheduling, ACL filtering and basic Layer3 routing. It supports link aggregation and 10G fiber uplink to core network. It monitors port link status, PoE power consumption, fan speed, temperature and power status, triggers alarm for port down, PoE overload, over-temperature or power failure. It is used to replace defective access switches in enterprise LAN.

InstallationCut off power before installation. Mount the switch into standard 19-inch rack. Insert SFP/SFP+ transceivers into SFP+ slots. Connect AC power, network cables, console and management port. Boot up and configure ExtremeXOS, VLAN, PoE profile and stacking parameters. Verify port status and network traffic before putting into production.
