X870-32C-Base supports SummitStack-V400 stacking, can stack with X590,X690,X870 series switches. Compatible with Extreme certified QSFP28/QSFP+ transceivers and DAC breakout cables. Function

X870-32C-Base is a compact 1U 100G spine switch for cloud and enterprise data center. 32 QSFP28 multi-rate ports can be configured flexibly for different speed combinations, support breakout to expand 10G/25G port count. Ports can be used for high-bandwidth spine uplink or SummitStack-V400 stacking links to combine multiple switches as one logical device. Low latency cut-through switching is suitable for high frequency trading and computing cluster. It supports advanced QoS, large ACL table, jumbo frame, zero touch provisioning ZTP+ and comprehensive security control, widely deployed for data center spine layer, high-performance computing and large enterprise core network.

Installation

Mount the switch into standard 19-inch equipment rack. Install PSU and fan modules, ensure airflow direction consistent between fans and power supplies. Connect power cable. Use console cable for initial CLI configuration. Insert QSFP28/QSFP+ transceivers and connect fiber or DAC breakout cables. Configure SummitStack-V400 stacking parameters if stack cluster required. Verify port speed, breakout mode and firmware consistency after boot.
