Module Feature

369-HI-0-0-0-0-H-E belongs to GE Multilin 369 motor protection series. It is a GE Multilin integrated motor management relay designed for AC motors used in pumps, fans and compressors. The unit provides comprehensive motor protection functions including overload, overcurrent, earth fault, RTD temperature monitoring, unbalance and undercurrent protection. It supports local HMI display, relay trip/alarm output, and multiple communication ports for SCADA system connection. Panel mount compact structure, built-in fault event recording, widely used in power, water treatment and petrochemical industrial motor control systems.

Working principle

The GE Multilin relay collects current transformer signals and RTD temperature signals, converts raw analog signals into engineering values via internal A/D conversion. It continuously compares measured values with pre-set protection thresholds. When abnormal condition exceeds threshold, relay contact trips to cut off motor power and record fault event. Real-time operating data and fault records can be uploaded to upper monitoring system through communication bus.

Installation

Follow ESD protection procedure before operation. Install GE Multilin relay on cabinet panel. Connect CT current wiring, RTD sensor cable, power cable and relay trip wiring to corresponding terminals. Configure motor protection parameters via EnerVista software or local HMI before commissioning.

Diagnostic

No current reading: CT wiring reverse or open circuit. Continuous over-temperature alarm: RTD sensor damage or wrong wiring. No communication: incorrect Modbus address or bus wiring fault.
