Module Feature

AMCB6GB belongs to GE Spectra series. It is a dedicated 6-pole mounting base module for GE Spectra molded case circuit breakers, maximum rated current 1200A, rated voltage 600V. This module provides mechanical fixing and electrical bus connection interface for matched GE circuit breakers, designed for installation inside Type AP panelboards. It adopts high strength insulating material, excellent mechanical rigidity and dielectric performance, anti-vibration for long-term operation in power distribution cabinet. Widely applied in industrial power distribution, commercial building power panel and low voltage switchgear systems.

Working principle

The GE AMCB6GB module acts as the mounting carrier and bus connector base. After the circuit breaker is installed and locked on this module, internal bus bars realize electrical connection between main bus and circuit breaker. It provides mechanical support and insulation isolation for breaker, ensures stable current transmission, and cooperates with cabinet structure to meet safety clearance requirements.

Installation

Cut off all upstream power supply and implement lockout-tagout before operation. Fix GE AMCB6GB module inside panelboard cabinet. Install matched Spectra circuit breaker onto module and lock the mechanical latch. Check bus bar contact and insulation gap before power recovery.

Diagnostic

Overheating at connection point: loose bus contact or oxidized copper surface. Breaker cannot lock: mounting base deformation or latch damage. Insulation leakage: insulation base crack or surface contamination.
