Products Description
GE CR206G000AEA MCCB Circuit Breaker Unit

Module Feature
CR206G000AEA is a GE molded case circuit breaker. It adopts thermal-magnetic trip mechanism for low voltage power distribution system protection. The thermal component handles overload protection, while magnetic component provides instantaneous short circuit protection. High strength molded insulating housing, anti-vibration and anti-aging, suitable for long-term operation in industrial power distribution cabinets. It can be equipped with auxiliary contact and shunt trip accessories. Widely applied in factory power distribution, motor feeders and commercial low voltage switchgear systems.
Working principle
When overload current flows through the GE CR206G000AEA breaker, bimetallic strip heats up and deforms, mechanically pushing the trip mechanism to open contacts with time delay characteristic. In case of short circuit fault, electromagnetic coil generates instant magnetic force to trigger rapid trip, cutting off fault current to protect downstream cables and loads.
Onboard components
Molded insulation shell, bimetallic thermal element, magnetic trip coil, moving and stationary silver alloy contacts, arc extinguishing chamber, trip linkage mechanism, operating handle.
LED indicators
No LED indicators.
Hardware self-diagnosis
Visual inspection of housing crack, contact ablation, trip mechanism jamming; insulation resistance test, contact resistance measurement.
Programming software
No configuration software required.
