Module Feature

CR307E1044FJDTLT belongs to GE CR307 NEMA magnetic motor starter series. It is a complete integrated motor control assembly combining magnetic contactor and thermal overload relay. It realizes remote and local start-stop control for three-phase AC motors. Built-in thermal overload element provides motor overload and phase loss protection. The enclosure adopts heavy-duty metal housing, strong anti-vibration and dust-proof capability. Equipped with auxiliary contact for status feedback and interlock control. Widely applied in water treatment, petrochemical and manufacturing workshop fan, pump and conveyor motor control.

Working principle

When control voltage is applied to GE contactor coil, electromagnetic force pulls armature to close main contacts, motor is powered and starts to run. If motor overload or phase unbalance fault occurs, thermal overload relay heats and trips, cutting off contactor coil power to stop motor. Auxiliary contact synchronously changes state to send running/fault signal to PLC or alarm circuit.

Installation

Cut off main power and control power before installation. Fix GE CR307E1044FJDTLT starter firmly on mounting wall. Wire main power, motor cable and control circuit to corresponding terminals. Adjust overload relay trip current according to motor rated current, test start-stop action after wiring.

Diagnostic

Motor cannot start: control coil damage or wrong control voltage. Starter trips frequently: overload relay setting error or motor actual overload. Contact overheat: loose wiring or main contact burning.
