Function

IC695CHS012-DA is 12-slot dual-bus universal backplane for RX3i PACSystems. It integrates PCI and serial bus, so users can mix IC695, IC694 and Series90-30 modules on one rack. The built-in grounding bar optimizes EMC performance. The serial expansion port can connect additional remote backplanes. Hot-swap function reduces system downtime during module maintenance. DA hardware revision upgrades the connector mechanical structure for stable module contact.

Installation

Follow lockout/tagout safety procedure before installation. Fully cut off rack power. Mount backplane inside control cabinet rack. Install power supply, CPU and I/O modules into corresponding slots. Connect 24V isolated terminal and shield ground to the integrated grounding bar. Connect serial expansion cable if needed. Configure hardware in Proficy Machine Edition. Power on and verify all modules online.
