If primary CPU fails, system switches to standby CPU without process interruption. Dual Ethernet ports provide redundant network communication. Battery backed memory retains program and process data during power loss. Front LEDs display running status, redundancy sync and fault information.

InstallationFollow lockout/tagout safety procedure before installation. Fully cut off rack power. Insert IC695310-FT into RX3i backplane slot and lock retainer. Connect Ethernet and serial cables. Configure redundant hardware and synchronization settings in Proficy Machine Edition. Power on and verify CPU synchronization and I/O communication.
