FunctionIC695PBM300-CC is PROFIBUS DP master communication module for RX3i PACSystems. It acts as the master station on PROFIBUS DP network to collect data and send control commands to all DP slaves independently without heavy CPU load. It supports cyclic real-time data exchange and acyclic DP V1 parameter read/write for drive parameter configuration and alarm diagnosis.

InstallationFollow lockout/tagout safety procedure before installation. Cut off rack backplane power. Insert IC695PBM300-CC into RX3i backplane slot and lock retainer. Connect shielded PROFIBUS DP cable to DB9 connector, terminate bus at both ends. Import GSD files and configure slave parameters in Proficy Machine Edition. Power on and verify PROFIBUS bus and slave communication.
