Product Details
IC697CHS770D is the D‑revision 17‑slot rear‑mount redundant chassis for GE Fanuc Series 90‑70 PLC platform, it is the core hardware carrier for building dual‑CPU hot‑standby high‑availability control systems.
This chassis adopts dual independent partition backplane architecture. Partition A and Partition B each own independent power slot, CPU slot and six I/O slots. The two groups of backplanes are electrically isolated. When one partition fails, the fault will not spread to the other partition, realizing physical‑level fault isolation for hot‑standby system.
Rear‑mount installation design:all PLC modules are inserted from the rear of control cabinet, only wiring terminals are reserved on cabinet front panel. It greatly saves front‑panel operation space of cabinet, convenient for field wiring and routine inspection.
The rack supports dual power redundant configuration. Two IC697 series power modules are installed separately in two power slots. If one power supply fails, the other power supply can keep the whole system running continuously, avoiding single‑point power failure shutdown risk.
It supports full‑range IC697 series modules, including CPU, digital/analog I/O boards, communication coprocessors and special functional boards. Rack station number is set by rear‑side jumpers. It can connect multiple expansion racks through dedicated bus cable to expand I/O scale for large‑scale process control projects.
Heavy‑duty steel frame provides excellent anti‑vibration and anti‑shock performance for complex industrial site environment. Multi‑layer PCB backplane guarantees stable signal transmission and good anti‑interference capability.
This redundant rack is widely deployed in thermal power plant turbine control and petrochemical high‑reliability production sites. It is used for system construction, hardware upgrading and spare‑part replacement of old Series 90‑70 dual‑CPU hot‑standby PLC control systems.
