IC697CMM742‑LL is the enhanced LL hardware revision Type‑2 ethernet coprocessor for GE Fanuc Series 90‑70 PLC platform, specially designed for industrial ethernet networking of legacy 90‑70 control systems.
This communication module adopts independent on‑board coprocessor, which offloads all ethernet protocol processing work from the main CPU. Heavy network traffic will not extend PLC scan cycle, ensuring stable real‑time control performance of the whole system.
Multiple physical media interfaces are integrated: 10Base‑T RJ‑45, 10Base2 BNC and 15‑pin AUI transceiver port. Only one physical port can be activated at the same time, supporting twisted‑pair, coaxial cable and external AUI transceiver expansion for various field wiring conditions.
It supports rich industrial network protocols. EGD realizes deterministic peer‑to‑peer data exchange between multiple PLC controllers; SRTP supports remote programming, online diagnosis and firmware download over LAN; Modbus TCP server/client enables data interaction with HMI, SCADA and third‑party automation devices.
