IC697CPM790 is a high‑performance single‑slot CPU module for GE Series90‑70 PLC platform,designed for safety‑critical industrial control scenarios with floating‑point computing capability。

This CPU occupies one slot of Series90‑70 VME‑bus rack,interacts with I/O boards and special function modules via VME C.1 backplane bus. It adopts 64MHz 80486DX2 processor,provides 1MB battery‑backup memory to preserve user logic,data and system configuration during power failure。
