Module Feature

IS200JPDHG1AAA belongs to GE Speedtronic Mark VIe turbine control platform.

It is a conformal coated high-density power distribution board. It accepts triple redundant 28VDC input and distributes power to up to 24 I/O packs and 3 Ethernet switches. Each output channel has independent PTC resettable overload protection to isolate faulty branches without shutting down the whole rack. It supports daisy-chain expansion via J1X connector and meets Class I Div 2 hazardous area requirements. It is widely used on gas turbines, steam turbines and compressor control skids in power and oil & gas stations.

Working principle

The board receives redundant 28VDC power through the J1 input connector.

Internal circuits distribute power to each output channel, and PTC elements limit current when overload or short circuit occurs. It continuously monitors input voltage and channel health, and sends fault status to the Mark VIe controller for alarm reporting.

Onboard components

Power input terminal block, PTC protection array, distribution circuit, daisy-chain J1X connector, status LED array, conformal coated PCB, signal routing traces.

LED indicators

Front LEDs indicate main power health, channel fault status and daisy-chain link status.

Hardware self‑diagnosis

Built-in monitoring detects loss of 28VDC input, over-current trip of PTC channels, abnormal board temperature and backplane communication failure. Fault information is uploaded to the turbine control HMI and control software.

Installation

Install the board in matched DIN rail carrier.

Connect redundant 28VDC power cables and daisy-chain cable if needed, verify each channel voltage and PTC status before turbine commissioning.

Diagnostic

Channel tripped: Short circuit or overload on the downstream I/O module. Input power alarm: Loss of one or more redundant 28VDC feed. Daisy chain unstable: Loose J1X connector or damaged cable.
