Function

Function description: EQI 1325.060-32 is inductive multiturn absolute rotary encoder manufactured by HEIDENHAIN. The open hollow shaft structure simplifies installation and compensates axial installation deviation. Multiturn function records multiple revolutions, absolute position is available instantly after power up. Inductive scanning technology provides excellent immunity to minor contamination and high mechanical vibration. It is high precision rotary measuring spare for heavy CNC boring mills.

Installation

Installation steps: Follow lockout/tagout safety procedure before installation. Cut off encoder DC power. Fit EQI1325 encoder hollow shaft onto motor rotor shaft and secure anti-rotation stator assembly. Connect shielded EnDat encoder cable to servo control unit. Restore power, verify LED indicators, run encoder signal test and spindle orientation calibration.

Diagnostic
