Module Feature

DR45AT-1000-40-001-0-RA0P0E-0 belongs to Honeywell DR4500 Truline recorder series. It is a microprocessor controlled 12-inch circular thermal chart recorder. It uses thermal stylus marking on thermal chart paper, supports thermocouple, RTD and 4-20mA analog input signals. It is equipped with configurable alarm relays, local digital display, membrane keypad and RS485 Modbus RTU communication. Panel cutout mounting, sealed viewing window, suitable for regulated industries requiring paper record traceability. Widely used in pharmaceutical, food sterilization, heat treatment and boiler process monitoring.

Working principle

Field analog signals are conditioned and converted by internal circuit. The main processor calculates the process value, drives the thermal stylus to draw trend traces on the rotating circular chart. The unit compares real-time value against alarm setpoints and activates relay outputs on fault conditions. It can exchange real-time data and alarm information with upper host system via Modbus bus.

Installation

Cut off all power before operation. Fit Honeywell DR45AT recorder into matched panel cutout and secure mounting brackets. Wire process input, power and alarm relay terminals. Install thermal circular chart paper, configure input type and alarm parameters before commissioning.
