Module Feature

DR45AT-1000-00-000-A-00000E-0 belongs to Honeywell DR4500 Truline recorder series. It is a microprocessor-based 12-inch circular thermal chart recorder. It adopts single hot stylus printing design, can print multiple traces and text information on blank thermal chart paper without pre-printed charts. This unit accepts multiple signal types including 4-20mA, RTD and thermocouple inputs. It has built-in PID control function, configurable alarm relays, password protection and RS485 Modbus communication interface. NEMA4X waterproof enclosure option is available, panel cutout mounting structure. Widely applied in food sterilization, pharmaceutical production, thermal processing and water treatment for compliance process data recording.

Working principle

Field process signals are sent to the recorder input terminal. The internal processor converts the signal value and drives the thermal stylus to draw trend traces on the rotating circular thermal chart. It compares real-time process value with alarm setpoints and triggers relay output when threshold is exceeded. It supports PID output to regulate field control valves. Historical data and alarm events can be uploaded to SCADA host through Modbus bus.

Installation

Cut off power supply before operation. Cut matched opening on control panel, install and fix Honeywell DR45AT recorder. Wire process input signal, power and alarm relay terminals. Load thermal circular chart paper, configure signal type, alarm and PID parameters before commissioning.

Diagnostic
