Products Description
Honeywell Eclipse 550100-47 Check Valve Unit

Module Feature
550100-47 is Honeywell Eclipse Series 1000 disc-style check valve, used inside industrial burner gas valve trains. It allows one-way flow of air or natural gas and stops reverse backflow to protect upstream regulators and shutoff valves. The valve body is brass construction with threaded screw connection. It is a low-pressure drop design suitable for continuous combustion systems. This check valve is not a safety shutoff valve and cannot provide bubble-tight sealing. It is commonly matched with Eclipse, Maxon, Kromschröder combustion components on furnaces, ovens and boiler burner packages.
Working principle
Forward gas flow pushes the internal disc off its seat to open the flow path. When upstream pressure drops or reverse pressure appears, the disc seats automatically to block backflow. It relies on differential pressure and gravity/spring force for opening and closing action.
Onboard components
Brass valve body, disc closure element, sealing seat, internal spring, threaded inlet/outlet ports.
LED indicators
No electrical indicator.
Hardware self‑diagnosis
Manual inspection only: visual leak check and flow direction verification. No electronic self-test function.
Programming software
Not applicable, purely mechanical valve.
Electrical & Process Parameters
