Module Feature

D2S007NF1N00 belongs to Konecranes Dynadrive D2S series compact crane dedicated variable frequency drive.

Rated power 0.75kW, three-phase input voltage 380~480V AC. It is pre-programmed for crane application, supporting closed-loop vector control, dynamic brake management, anti-sway auxiliary function, overspeed and brake fault detection. Integrated digital input/output terminals, encoder feedback interface, Modbus communication. Compact transparent housing design, DIN rail or chassis mounting, matched with Konecranes crane control system. Widely stocked as maintenance spare for overhead crane trolley, long travel and light-duty hoist control cabinet.

Working principle

The drive receives run, direction and speed command from crane master controller or PLC.

It outputs adjustable frequency sine wave current to crane motor, adjusts torque and speed in real time according to encoder feedback. The internal crane logic coordinates motor output and brake release timing to prevent load slipping. Protection circuit monitors overcurrent, overvoltage, undervoltage, motor overheat, overspeed and brake feedback abnormality, and triggers safe stop once fault occurs. Operation data and alarm codes can be uploaded to crane control system via serial bus.

Onboard components

Main control CPU, IGBT power module, precharge circuit, encoder signal interface, digital I/O terminal group, Modbus communication chip, status LED array, brake control output, cooling structure and transparent protective housing.

LED indicators

Front LED indicators: Power, Ready, Run, Fault status. Operating parameters and alarms can be displayed by external control panel.

Hardware self‑diagnosis

Built-in supervision detects encoder loss, overcurrent, DC bus out of range, brake circuit failure, overspeed and communication error. Parameter tuning and fault reading are completed by Konecranes DynaStudio service software.

Installation

Disconnect main power and control supply before replacement.

Confirm motor and encoder wiring sequence, set crane acceleration, deceleration and brake interlock parameters, test jog operation, brake coordination and overspeed protection function after commissioning.

Interface

Diagnostic

Overspeed fault: Encoder wiring reversed, parameter gain mismatch. Load slipping: Brake release timing ahead of torque build-up. No run response: Enable interlock missing, command signal lost. Overcurrent trip: Motor insulation damage, cable short circuit.
