Products Description
Meggitt 144-171-000-031 Vibration Accelerometer Unit

Module Feature
144-171-000-031 is a high-temperature piezoelectric accelerometer from Meggitt Vibro-Meter.
It is specially designed for vibration measurement of gas turbines and other high-temperature rotating equipment. The hermetically sealed stainless steel structure can adapt to harsh high-temperature environments. It outputs charge signal proportional to vibration acceleration, and needs to be matched with charge amplifier or monitoring module. Widely stocked as spare for power generation and petrochemical condition monitoring system.
Working principle
Internal piezoelectric crystal generates charge signal when subjected to vibration acceleration.
The charge signal is transmitted to the signal conditioning unit via low-noise shielded cable. The monitoring system converts the charge signal into vibration acceleration value for real-time monitoring, alarm and fault analysis of the turbine unit.
Onboard components
Piezoelectric sensing element, internal insulating structure, hermetically sealed stainless steel shell, high temperature cable connector and shielding assembly.
LED indicators
No built-in LED indicator.
Hardware self‑diagnosis
Check cable insulation, connector tightness and signal integrity through the vibration monitoring host. No local adjustment function.
Programming software
Not applicable, charge output transducer, configured by matched monitoring system software.
