Feature & Principle

This variable reluctance sensor generates AC pulse signal when gear teeth pass the probe tip. The signal frequency is proportional to shaft rotation speed. The control system calculates real-time rotating speed from pulse frequency for overspeed protection, speed closed-loop control and vibration monitoring. It needs no external power supply.
