OPTIMATION OL4054 4 Slot RTU Assembly with OL2408

Module Feature

OPTIMATION OL4054 is OptiLogic 4-slot modular Remote Terminal Unit base chassis. This assembly is fitted with OL2408 analog input module. OL4054 supports hot-plug OptiLogic I/O cards, equipped with 10BaseT Ethernet supporting OptiLogic/UDP and IPX protocols, plus RS232 serial port for local configuration or HMI connection. Backplane provides 2.8A@5V power supply for all installed I/O modules. OL2408 is 8-channel analog input module,designed to collect analog signals such as pressure,flow,temperature from field transmitters. Removable screw terminal block,opto-isolated signal circuit. The remaining empty slots can be fitted with other OptiLogic I/O modules or OL0001 blank filler cards. Widely used for semiconductor wet bench and chemical delivery control cabinet analog and discrete signal acquisition.

Working principle: OL4054 rack backplane provides power and parallel bus communication. OL2408 collects analog field signals and transmits data to RTU mainboard. RTU uploads all I/O data to host PLC via Ethernet, and receives control commands to drive output modules. RS232 port supports local parameter setting and connection to OptiMate HMI panels.

Installation

Follow lockout/tagout safety procedure before installation. Power off OptiLogic RTU rack. Confirm OL2408 fully locked in slot, install OL0001 blank filler for unused slots. Wire 8~30VDC power and Ethernet cable. Configure network and analog channel parameters, test all channels before commissioning.

Diagnostic
