Module Feature

OPTIMATION OL4054 is OptiLogic series 4-slot modular Remote Terminal Unit base chassis. It adopts snap-together card cage design, supports hot pluggable OptiLogic I/O modules. Equipped with 10BaseT 10Mbps Ethernet interface supporting OptiLogic/UDP and IPX protocols, plus RS232 serial port for local configuration or HMI connection. Built-in backplane supplies 2.8A@5V for all installed I/O modules. Compact DIN rail metal housing, users can freely combine digital input, transistor output, relay output, analog and high-speed counter modules. Widely used in small-scale semiconductor wet bench and compact chemical fluid delivery distributed control systems.

Working principle: The internal backplane provides stable power and parallel bus communication for all inserted I/O modules. It collects analog and discrete field signals from I/O cards, transmits data to host controller via Ethernet, and receives control commands to drive field actuators. The RS232 port supports local parameter setting and operator panel connection. Function

OL4054 RTU base manufactured by OPTIMATION. It acts as compact distributed I/O rack for small process control systems. Poor backplane contact or wrong IP configuration will lead to module offline and communication interruption. It is core modular I/O chassis for wet bench automation control cabinet.

Installation

Follow lockout/tagout safety procedure before installation. Power off OptiLogic RTU rack. Mount chassis on DIN rail. Insert I/O modules into empty slots and lock latches. Wire 8-30VDC power and Ethernet cable. Configure network parameters and test all I/O channels before production startup. Install OL0001 blank filler card for unused slots.

Diagnostic
