Module Feature

AR-20AE is Parker Aries series digital servo drive, designed for high-precision motion control applications, max output power 2000W, controlled by ±10V analog command.

It supports incremental encoder and Heidenhain Endat encoder feedback, position, speed and torque control modes are available. Suitable for automation machinery, machine tools and conveyor systems.

Working Principle

The drive receives analog command signals from host controller, internal DSP completes closed-loop calculation, outputs PWM signal to drive servo motor. Encoder feeds back motor position and speed in real time to adjust output, ensuring positioning accuracy and dynamic response.

Installation Requirement

Vertically mounted inside cabinet, reserve sufficient clearance for heat dissipation. Verify supply voltage before power-on. Use shielded cable for encoder wiring with single-point shield grounding. Separate power cables and feedback cables to reduce interference.

Diagnostic Tips

Check status LED indicator after power up. For alarms, first inspect encoder wiring and input voltage. Excessive following error may be caused by mechanical jam or improper gain setting. Check cable shield and damage for communication faults.
