Pepperl+Fuchs PC5500 Level Controller

Feature & Principle

It is a non-contact ultrasonic level controller of Pepperl+Fuchs PC5500 series. The sensor emits ultrasonic pulses, the sound wave hits the surface of the medium and reflects back. The internal circuit calculates the distance and level height by measuring the time-of-flight of sound. It is not affected by medium conductivity, dielectric constant and viscosity. Built-in temperature compensation automatically corrects the sound speed deviation caused by ambient temperature change, supports local parameter setting, echo filtering and false signal suppression, can output analog signal and relay alarm signal.
