Feature & Principle

It is a ProSoft Technology third-party communication module for GE Fanuc Series 90-30 PLC. It plugs directly into the 90-30 backplane and communicates with the PLC CPU via the rack bus. It handles Modbus RTU protocol stack independently, acting as Modbus master to read field VFDs, meters and sensors, or as Modbus slave for host SCADA system access. Onboard status LEDs indicate power, communication and fault conditions. It reduces CPU communication burden and is widely used for retrofitting legacy 90-30 control systems.
