ProSoft MVI56 Communication Module

Feature & Principle

It is a single-slot communication gateway series developed by ProSoft for Allen-Bradley ControlLogix 1756 rack. Different suffix versions support Modbus, PROFIBUS, HART, ASCII and other industrial protocols. It exchanges data with ControlLogix CPU through backplane bus, and realizes protocol conversion between PLC and field instruments, drives and other third-party equipment. It has built-in register buffer for data mapping, configured by ProSoft Configuration Builder software. This classic series has been discontinued and widely used as maintenance spare for old automation control systems.
