Feature & Principle

It is a reducer-type vortex flowmeter of Rosemount 8800D series from Emerson. It adopts Karman vortex street principle. When fluid flows through the bluff body, regular vortexes are generated, and the sensor detects vortex frequency to calculate volumetric flow. Dual independent sensor structure supports redundant measurement, sensor can be replaced online without process shutdown. Adopts adaptive digital signal processing, good anti-vibration performance, gasket-free welded meter body to reduce leakage risk, widely used for steam, gas and clean liquid flow monitoring.
