Bently Nevada 821-10105 Proximity Probe

Feature & Principle

It works based on eddy current principle. The internal coil emits high-frequency alternating magnetic field. Eddy current will be induced on the surface of the measured metal shaft. The impedance change of the coil reflects the clearance between the probe and the target. It transmits gap and vibration signals to the proximitor module, which is widely used for online condition monitoring of turbines, compressors and generators.
