Module Feature

Sanyo Denki R2AA04010FXPCM belongs to SANMOTION R series compact AC brushless servo motor. Rated power 100W, AC200V power class, low inertia rotor design. Built-in high resolution absolute rotary encoder for closed-loop position feedback, no battery required for position retention. 40mm small square flange, ultra compact body, high torque density, low torque ripple and excellent dynamic response. High precision double ball bearing assembly, good vibration resistance and stable low-speed running characteristic. No built-in power-off holding brake, suitable for light load horizontal axis positioning applications. Widely used for light load precision motion axis in semiconductor wet bench and chemical delivery automation equipment.

Working principle: The matched servo amplifier outputs three-phase AC power to motor windings. The built-in absolute encoder continuously feeds rotor angle and speed signal back to servo drive. The drive performs real-time closed-loop calculation and adjusts output current to realize precise torque, speed and position control. Absolute encoder can retain position data after power off, no need for home search after power restart. Without power-off brake, external mechanical locking device shall be equipped when applied to vertical load.

Installation

Follow lockout/tagout safety procedure before installation. Power off servo drive system. Align motor shaft and load coupling,fasten flange mounting bolts securely. Wire motor power cable and encoder feedback cable. Configure servo parameters via SANMOTION software, perform jog test and positioning verification before formal operation.

Diagnostic

Motor cannot rotate:Power wiring error, servo enable signal missing. Positioning inaccuracy:Encoder fault, loose coupling or servo gain mismatch. Overheat alarm:Overloaded load, poor ventilation or bearing wear. Abnormal running noise:Bearing damage or shaft misalignment between motor and load.
