Products Description
Schneider PGA36120 MCCB Unit

Module Feature
PGA36120 belongs to Schneider PowerPacT P series molded case circuit breaker.
It adopts compact molded insulation housing and supports I-Line busbar mounting structure. It is equipped with ET1.0I fixed electronic trip unit for long-time overload protection. It can be expanded with shunt trip, auxiliary switch and alarm switch accessories, and shares a unified accessory platform with other P-frame breakers. It is commonly deployed in low voltage main incoming, sub-feeder and bus tie protection circuits.
Working principle
The built-in electronic trip unit continuously monitors load current.
When current exceeds the preset overload threshold, the trip unit triggers the mechanical operating mechanism to open the main contacts and isolate the fault circuit. The internal arc chute extinguishes electric arc rapidly during breaking to prevent arc damage inside the breaker.
Onboard components
Main contact assembly, arc quenching chamber, electronic trip board, current sensing transformer, stored-energy operating mechanism, manual operating handle, auxiliary contact mounting cavity.
LED indicators
Not applicable.
Hardware self‑diagnosis
Diagnosis depends on supporting power monitoring accessory. It detects overload alarm, trip event and circuit abnormal status. Trip records can be uploaded via optional communication module.
Programming software
Schneider EcoStruxure Power Commissioning Tool, used for breaker parameter checking and energy monitoring configuration with matched accessories.
