Module Feature

6RA7082-6FV62-0-Z is a microprocessor-based line-commutated four-quadrant DC converter from Siemens SIMOREG DC Master platform.

It adopts thyristor bridge structure for armature and field regulation, supporting forward and reverse operation with regenerative braking. It integrates built-in PID, free function blocks, and multiple I/O channels. It supports optional PROFIBUS communication card and external operation panel, suitable for heavy-duty continuous operation in metal processing, paper machinery and mining equipment.

Working principle

Three-phase AC supply is rectified into adjustable DC voltage via thyristor stack.

Digital control board samples armature current, field current and encoder speed signal, executes closed-loop speed and current regulation. Four-quadrant bridge enables energy feedback back to AC grid during deceleration, achieving regenerative braking.

Onboard components

Thyristor power stack, field rectifier unit, digital control motherboard, pulse trigger board, current and voltage transformers, status LED array, cooling fan assembly.

LED indicators

Front LEDs indicate power ready, run status, fault alarm, field excitation and communication link.

Hardware self‑diagnosis

Built-in supervision detects overcurrent, overvoltage, field loss, overtemperature, phase failure and communication fault. Fault codes and parameter logs can be read through Siemens DriveWindow engineering software.

Programming software

Siemens DriveWindow, used for drive parameter setting, optimization, fault recording and firmware maintenance.
