Module Feature

PGL36100U44A is the full order part number of Schneider PowerPacT P frame MCCB.

It is three-pole, rated current 1000A, rated voltage 600Vac, lug type main terminal. The trip unit is Micrologic 6.0A, which integrates LSIG four protection elements: overload, short time delay, instantaneous short circuit and earth fault. It has built-in power measurement, current trending and event recording. Communication module can be expanded for Modbus access. 80% rated version, suitable for continuous heavy load operation. Widely stocked as spare for industrial plant, data center and commercial building LV main feeder cabinet.

Working principle

Internal current sensors feed phase current signal to Micrologic 6.0A trip module.

When overload, short circuit or earth fault occurs, the electronic unit triggers the release mechanism to open main contact and cut off the circuit. The trip unit records fault current value and timestamp. The metering function uploads real-time current, power and energy data to SCADA system via optional communication adapter.

Onboard components

Main contact and arc extinguishing chamber, Micrologic 6.0A electronic trip unit, manual operating handle, lug terminal block, auxiliary contact slot, test button, status indicator window and flame retardant housing.

LED indicators

Local display on Micrologic trip unit shows current, alarm and trip information; status LED for healthy / trip.

Hardware self‑diagnosis

Trip unit monitors sensor health and internal electronics. Configuration and fault viewing are completed by Schneider EcoStruxure Power software.

Installation

Isolate upstream power before replacement.

Torque main lug terminals to required value, wire auxiliary/communication accessories if needed, set protection parameters, test manual operation and each protection function after commissioning.

Diagnostic

Overload trip: Load exceeds long time setting. Instantaneous trip: Downstream short circuit. GF alarm: Earth leakage current above threshold. No communication: Adapter loose, bus wiring fault.
