Products Description

Siemens 3RT1044‑1A Contactor Unit

Module Feature

3RT1044‑1A belongs to Siemens SIRIUS 3RT1 series three‑pole power contactor, size S3. Supports DIN‑rail or screw panel mounting, can add auxiliary contact blocks and match overload relay to build motor starter. Mainly used for switching three‑phase motor and general AC loads inside control cabinet.

Working principle

When coil gets rated control voltage, electromagnetic coil pulls armature to close main contacts, power transmits to load. Coil de‑energized, spring force opens contacts to cut off load circuit.

Onboard components

Electromagnetic coil, main contact sets, moving armature, return spring, screw terminals, housing, auxiliary contact mounting base.

LED indicators

No onboard LED indicators. Working status judged by contact action and external circuit feedback.

Hardware self‑diagnosis

Check contact surface burnout, measure coil resistance, inspect terminal tightness, observe abnormal heating during operation.

Programming software

No configuration software, pure electromechanical switching component.
