Module Feature

S7‑300 is Siemens SIMATIC series modular medium‑size PLC. It adopts rail rack installation, flexible combination of PS power supply, CPU, IM interface module, SM signal module, FM function module and CP communication module. Multiple CPU variants are optional, with integrated MPI or PROFIBUS‑DP interface, some models support PROFINET. It has powerful system diagnosis and password protection function, commonly used for production line, machine tool and general process automation.

Working principle

CPU circulates to execute user program, reads digital and analog field signals from I/O modules. After logic and arithmetic operation, output control signals to actuators. It exchanges data with HMI, other PLC and upper computer through communication interface to realize distributed automatic control.

LED indicators

Installation
