Feature & Principle

It is the classic SIMATIC S5 PLC platform from Siemens. The 6ES5 is the unified prefix of all S5 series module part numbers. The system adopts rack backplane bus architecture, CPU executes STEP5 user program to realize logic control, timing, counting, PID regulation and data acquisition. It supports SINEC L2 (Profibus) communication, can expand digital and analog I/O modules, special function modules and remote I/O racks. Multiple models such as S5-90U, S5-100U, S5-115U, S5-135U, S5-155U cover small, medium and large control requirements. This series has been discontinued for many years and mostly used for old equipment maintenance and spare replacement.
