Module Feature

GXE3-10KIRT5UX is Vertiv Liebert GXE3 online double-conversion uninterruptible power supply.

It adopts 5U rack/tower convertible structure, rated 10000VA /10000W with unity power factor, wide AC input range. It supports online mode up to 94% efficiency and ECO high efficiency mode up to 98%. Internal batteries are hot-swappable, and external battery cabinets can be connected to extend backup runtime. Color LCD local display, optional SNMP network management card for remote monitoring and shutdown control. It is widely stocked as maintenance spare for data center, factory automation and instrument critical power cabinet.

Working principle

Mains AC is rectified to stable DC, then inverted back to purified AC output continuously to supply critical load.

When mains failure occurs, the battery pack supplies DC power to inverter without transfer interruption. Built-in charger recharges batteries automatically after mains recovery. Internal supervision circuit monitors input voltage, battery voltage, inverter temperature and output overload. It triggers alarm and saves event logs when abnormality appears, and supports remote graceful shutdown of IT equipment.

Onboard components

Rectifier module, inverter power stage, battery charger, battery pack, cooling fan, LCD display panel, status indicator bank, terminal block and metal rack-mount housing.

LED indicators

Front LEDs indicate mains normal, battery mode, inverter RUN, overload warning and system fault alarm. All parameters and event logs are shown on color LCD screen.

Hardware self‑diagnosis

Built-in supervision detects input over/under voltage, battery low voltage, output overload, over-temperature, fan fault and inverter failure. Configuration and remote monitoring are completed by Vertiv Power Insight software.

Programming software

Vertiv Power Insight, used for UPS parameter setup, battery test, event log reading and remote shutdown configuration.

Installation

Isolate AC input and battery power before replacement.

Check AC input wiring, battery connection polarity and load output terminals, reserve ventilation space, set battery parameters and test mains/battery mode switching function after commissioning.

AC input terminal, load output terminal, battery port, USB communication port, SNMP card slot.

Diagnostic

Battery mode alarm: Mains loss, input circuit breaker tripped or input voltage out of range. Overload alarm: Load power exceeds UPS rated capacity, downstream short circuit. Communication offline: Network card not installed, network cable fault or IP conflict.
