Module Feature

T29-0426-G150 is Hoffman industrial enclosure mounted air conditioner.

It provides 4000 BTU per hour cooling capacity, rated power supply 200~250VAC. It integrates head pressure control for low ambient operation, compressor heating strip, coated condenser coil and mechanical thermostat. It adopts galvanized steel painted housing, built-in reusable aluminum mesh filter to protect internal coil from dust contamination. Dual condenser fans support redundant cooling airflow. It is widely stocked as maintenance spare for PLC, DCS and power distribution cabinet thermal management in oil & gas, refinery and outdoor industrial site.

Working principle

Refrigerant circulates inside sealed refrigeration circuit.

Compressor compresses refrigerant gas, heat dissipates through condenser coil, liquid refrigerant expands and absorbs heat inside evaporator to cool cabinet internal air. Thermostat detects cabinet temperature and controls compressor start-stop to maintain set temperature range. Internal malfunction switch triggers alarm when overheat or refrigerant fault occurs, fault signal can be connected to plant SCADA alarm system.

Onboard components

Hermetic compressor, condenser coil, evaporator coil, expansion device, dual cooling fans, thermostat, compressor heater, malfunction alarm switch, air filter, power terminal block and weatherproof metal housing.

LED indicators

Front indicator shows unit power status, fault alarm is triggered via built-in malfunction switch.

Hardware self‑diagnosis

Built-in thermal supervision detects high discharge temperature, fan failure and refrigeration circuit abnormal. Parameter setting and fault inspection are finished by local thermostat and field inspection.

Programming software

No dedicated configuration software, temperature setting via local mechanical thermostat.

Installation

Isolate AC power supply before replacement.

Align unit with cabinet cutout, seal mounting gap, confirm phase voltage, clean filter regularly, test cooling function and fault alarm output after commissioning.

Interface

200~250VAC power terminal, fault alarm dry contact terminal.

Diagnostic

No cooling: Compressor heater active at low ambient, power missing or refrigerant leakage. High cabinet temperature: Filter blocked, fan failure or condenser coil fouled. Continuous fault alarm: Over-temperature trip, compressor overload or wiring fault.
