201-157-000-011 Fuel Control Actuator Unit

Module Feature

201-157-000-011 is a proportional linear fuel control actuator for engine electronic governing systems. It runs on 24V DC supply and accepts PWM or analog command signal from speed controller. It has built-in Hall or potentiometer position feedback for closed-loop regulation. The internal return spring automatically moves to fuel shut-off position when power is lost, providing safe engine shutdown protection. It adopts sealed alloy housing with dust and splash resistance, suitable for generator sets, pump drive engines and gas compression units.

Working principle

The control signal from governor drives the coil assembly to push the fuel rack. The position sensor continuously feeds back real-time rack position to the speed controller. The controller adjusts output signal to stabilize engine RPM. When power supply fails, the return spring pulls the rack back to zero fuel position to stop the engine.

Onboard components

Alloy sealed housing, drive coil assembly, linear armature, position feedback sensor, return spring, multi-pin signal connector, mounting lug bracket.

LED indicators

No built-in LED. Actuator working state and fault alarms are displayed on the matched governor panel.

Hardware self‑diagnosis

No independent self-check circuit. The supporting governor detects open coil, broken feedback wire, stroke overrun and loss of supply voltage.

Programming software

Governor configuration software is used for stroke calibration, speed droop setting and feedback signal monitoring.

Installation

Fix the actuator on fuel pump bracket, align connecting rod to fuel rack and avoid side load. Connect 24V power, control signal and feedback wiring, calibrate full stroke and zero position before engine startup.

Diagnostic

No movement: Damaged coil, missing 24V DC power or broken control wire. Speed hunting: Weak feedback signal, binding fuel rack or loose linkage. No shutdown on power loss: Stuck armature or failed return spring.
