Products Description

Allen Bradley 1336F-B100-AE-EN 1336 PLUS II AC Drive Unit

Module Feature

1336F-B100-AE-EN is Allen‑Bradley (Rockwell Automation) 1336 PLUS II series enclosed AC variable frequency drive. Model decoding: 1336F = PLUS II enclosed series; B100 = 100HP rating; AE = NEMA 1 cabinet, 460V; EN = English language firmware. It adopts field‑oriented control algorithm, supports speed control and torque control mode, built‑in process trim function block and flying start function. Equipped with encoder feedback interface for high precision speed regulation. Widely used for fans, pumps, conveyors, extruders and printing machinery in traditional industrial production lines. This series has been discontinued, mostly supplied as refurbished spare drive for legacy automation systems.

Working principle

Three‑phase AC input is rectified to DC bus voltage, then IGBT power unit outputs adjustable V/Hz or vector PWM waveform to motor. Field oriented control separates excitation current and torque current independently, to maintain stable torque output at low speed. It supports dynamic braking matching external brake resistor for fast stop. Built‑in fault memory records time‑stamped alarm events for maintenance troubleshooting.

Onboard components

Input rectifier assembly, IGBT power module, DC bus capacitor bank, main control logic board, encoder feedback port, digital and analog I/O terminal strip, cooling fan assembly, NEMA1 metal enclosure, operator panel interface.

LED indicators

Front panel status LEDs display power, run, fault and alarm; local keypad shows output frequency, current, DC bus voltage and fault codes.

Hardware self‑diagnosis

Power‑on self‑diagnosis detects overvoltage, undervoltage, overcurrent, overheat, motor overload, encoder loss, communication error. Fault logs with time stamp are saved in non‑volatile memory.

Programming software

Parameter commissioning and fault diagnosis use Rockwell DriveExplorer software; local parameter setting via 1336‑MOD operator keypad. Supports DH+ communication adapter for PLC networking.
