Module Feature

100-D630ED11 belongs to Allen‑Bradley Bulletin 100-D large frame IEC contactor family under Rockwell Automation.

It is rated 630A continuous, three main power poles, equipped with low-power electronic wide-range coil supporting 110‑130V AC and DC control supply. It comes with built-in 1 normally open and 1 normally closed auxiliary contact for status feedback and interlock logic. It supports add-on accessories including auxiliary contact blocks, surge suppressors, mechanical interlocks and terminal shrouds. This model is end-of-life and discontinued since 2019, widely stocked as spare for legacy MCC, pump, fan and conveyor motor control circuits.

Working principle

When control voltage is applied to the electronic coil, electromagnetic force pulls the moving contact bridge closed.

The three main poles conduct current to the motor or load. When coil power is removed, internal contact spring separates main contacts and breaks the power circuit. Auxiliary contacts change state synchronously to send running or open feedback signal to PLC or protection relays.

Silver alloy main contact assembly, arc quenching chamber, electronic coil driver module, magnet yoke and armature, contact pressure spring group, auxiliary contact block, power terminal lugs, insulating frame.

Installation
