Product Details

3500/20 RIM is the essential main communication gateway for Bently Nevada 3500 machinery protection rack. It must be placed in slot 1 next to power supply position,each rack requires one unit.

It provides front‑panel RS232 debug port and rear I/O sub‑board interfaces. It supports rack configuration,parameter upload and download,reading measurement data,alarm status and historical event logs. It can connect to external communication processors such as TDXnet,TDIX,DDIX.

This module does not participate in hardware protection voting logic. Even if RIM fails,the protection trip function of whole rack still works normally. Hot‑swap replacement is supported. Two versions available: standard RIM and TMR triple‑modular‑redundant RIM for TMR system. Different I/O sub‑modules can be selected for modem or RS232/RS422 function.

Note: This is legacy 3500 series spare component,widely used for replacement of turbine and compressor TSI monitoring & protection systems.
