Cummins CPC100-1 Diesel Generator Unit

Module Feature

CPC100-1 is Cummins powered open type diesel generator set. It adopts Cummins 6BT5.9-G1 engine matched with brushless alternator, rated standby power 100kW.

The unit is equipped with integrated control panel, supporting automatic start/stop, overspeed, low oil pressure and high water temperature protection. Open frame design facilitates heat dissipation and maintenance, suitable for fixed power station and temporary construction power supply scenarios.

Working principle

The diesel engine burns fuel to generate mechanical rotation energy and drives the alternator rotor. The alternator converts mechanical energy into stable AC power output for loads.

When abnormal working condition appears, the control system will trigger shutdown protection to prevent engine and alternator damage. It can be configured with ATS for automatic mains failure switching.

Onboard components

Cummins diesel engine, brushless synchronous alternator, fuel tank, exhaust silencer, digital control panel, battery starting assembly, cooling radiator, base frame.

LED indicators

Control panel LED indicators for power, run, oil pressure, water temperature and fault alarm.

Hardware self‑diagnosis

Controller monitors oil pressure, coolant temperature, battery voltage, speed and output voltage. It records fault codes and shutdown events automatically.

Programming software

Generator controller configuration software for parameter setting, protection threshold adjustment and event log export.

Installation

Install on flat concrete foundation, reserve ventilation and exhaust space. Connect fuel pipeline, exhaust pipe, cooling water and battery wiring.

Set voltage, frequency and protection parameters on controller. Complete no-load test and load test before formal commissioning. Regularly replace filter element, engine oil and coolant.

Interface

AC power output terminal block, fuel inlet port, exhaust flange, battery terminals, ATS signal dry contacts.

Diagnostic

Fail to start: Low battery power, fuel supply interruption or starter fault.

Low output voltage: Excitation fault, speed deviation or alternator winding anomaly.

Shutdown alarm: Low oil pressure, high coolant temperature or overspeed protection triggered.
